With the newest series ofI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! well and truly underway, this year’s campmates have become familiar faces on our screens, with viewers up and down the country staying tuned to watch them navigate life in the Australian jungle

But while we may have recently got to know the likes ofBoy George, Chris Moyles andMatt Hancock for their time completing Bushtucker Trials, reminiscing on life back home andheated discussions, prior to their time in the spotlight, they looked very different indeed.

So, as the campmates continue to put their bravery to the test Down Under, let’s take a peek at what some of this year’s contestants looked like before finding fame…

Mike Tindall

As the husband of Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall, Mike is a familiar face among royal fans who will recognise him from his appearances at high profile events with the senior royals.

Though he may be instantly recognisable thanks to his sporty look, in his younger days the 44 year oldpreviously sported a fuller head of hair. In fact, the former rugby player once shared a picture of himself with a blonde ‘do with the caption: “Felt cute… Might delete later.”

Boy George

Down Under, Boy George has attracted viewers’ attention thanks to his hat wearing and face tattoos. While he has previously admitted that he had intended to tattoo his entire head, the singer settled with getting several tattoos on his temples and neck area.

As a result, the 61 year old looks very different to how he did back in the 1980s when he became an international superstar. Despite even being a fan of oversized hats back then, the Karma Chameleon singer was also keen on sporting bold eyeshadow and plaited locks.

Sue Cleaver

Given that she’s starred inCoronation Street since 2000,Sue Cleaver is one of the most recognisable soap stars. However, in recent years, 59 year old Suehas undergone a dramatic transformation after going on a weight loss journey and losing three stone.

If that wasn’t enough, during lockdown, the actress even dyed her hair bubblegum pink after being forced to spend more time at home.

Jill Scott

After helping bring home the Euro 2022 trophy alongside her fellow Lionesses, Jill Scott catapulted into the public eye.

Judging by older pictures of the 35 year old hasn’t changed a lot throughout the years and has held onto her youthful look and incredible brown locks. However, like most people in the noughties, it appears as though Jill was a fan of the thin eyebrow look.

Matt Hancock

Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock became a regular face on our TV as he delivered daily briefings alongside the PM. But prior to this role, Matt first became an MP back in 2010 when he burst onto the scene as a fresh faced politician with a considerable head of brown hair.

Chris Moyles

During his time in the jungle,Chris Moyles has been open about his weight loss, with Olivia Attwood even remarking that he looked a lot different since overhauling his lifestyle.

Down Under, Chris is known for his icy blonde haircut and athletic figure, though in the past he looked a lot different. Speaking on The Kempcast in 2020, the former Radio 1 DJ revealed thathe trains up to five days a week and uses intermittent fasting, though isn’t as strict when it comes to his routine on the weekend.

Seann Walsh

Some viewers were left surprised after seeing Seann Walsh in the jungle as he stepped out with a much shorter haircut than he’s sported in the past. Previously the comedian has been known for his long blonde curls, though it seems as though Seann is a fan of a more smarter look these days.
