I’m A Celeb’s Scarlette Douglas’ famous TV star brother who used to be a footballer

Scarlette Douglas has swapped TV presenting for the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, with the star being one of this year's celebrity contestants.

The 35 year old is famed for presenting Channel 4 show A Place In The Sun with co-host Craig Rowe, with the pair first fronting the show in 2015.

Scarlette has also began presenting alongside her older brother Stuart Douglas, 44, with the duo hosting George Clarke's Flipping Fast and Worst House on the Street for Channel 4.

Before carving out a career as a TV presenter, Stuart was a professional footballer who played for numerous teams.

He began his career as a youth player with Luton Town and in total made 173 appearances for the team.

Stuart then spent time on loan at Oxford United and Rushden & Diamonds before moving to Boston United in August 2002.

The 44 year old then went on to play for RoPS in Finland, Dagenham & Redbridge FC and Conference South leaders Newport County. He also played for Bath City, Dorchester Town and Poole Town during his professional career.

In October 2020, he was appointed head physiotherapist at Championship club AFC Bournemouth.

Stuart has since turned his hand to TV presenting with sister Scarlette. The pair hosted Love It or List It as part of Channel 4's 'Black to Front' special in 2021.

Earlier this year the duo joined George Clarke's series Flipping Fast, and in August they began hosting Worst House on the Street together.

Scarlette and Stuart have continued to document their TV ventures on their joint Instagram account, @scarandstu, with the pair sharing behind-the-scenes snaps of their projects.

Away from the spotlight, Stuart is a doting dad to his three sons, Marley Tee-jay and Ocean, and daughter Ava-Rae. It is unknown if he is married or in a relationship.

Scarlette is one of the celebrities currently residing in the Australian jungle alongside the likes of Boy George, Sue Cleaver, Owen Warner and Chris Moyles.

I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs on ITV at 9pm.
