I'm a supersaver… here's the 14 products you should buy at Asda because they're cheaper than elsewhere | The Sun

A SAVVY supersaver has revealed a bargain supermarket shopping list which could fill you up for the week for under £15.

Thrifty aisle-sweeper Eilish Stout-Cairns listed the 14 products she says she can buy for just £14.51 at Asda – urging others to do so too.

The 27-year-old actress from Newcastle insisted to consumer site LatestDeals.co.uk the items were cheaper than in rival supermarkets.

Her shopping list's must-have food options include pesto pasta, porridge with jam and a jacket potato with baked beans.

She told the site: "When it’s close to the end of the month or I need to cut back due to unexpected costs cropping up, I use this shopping list to keep my grocery spend in check.

"It’s great because I can stock up on essential items and still snack between meals if I get peckish – but I’m spending less than £15 per week."

Treats her budget go-to menu still permits include ready salted crisps and ginger nut biscuits.

She added:: "By weaving super-cheap items into your shopping list, you can afford to budget for more expensive items so you’re eating decent, filling meals."

Another shopper has told of the three things he always adds to his trolley at Iceland and why that never includes pasta.

Others have recommended Waitrose as a potentially-surprising option for bagging a pack of biscuits and coffee for just 30p.

Readers of The Sun have also been recommended lesser-known loyalty schemes where you can get free food, coffee and petrol.
