An influencer got himself into trouble after trying to pull a prank on a stranger.

Jay, who goes by the name"jaykindafunny8" on TikTok, often shares jokey videos to capture strangers' reactions when he pulls stunts on them.

He attempts to hoodwink members of the public by acting like a victim afterwards – but one bloke didn't fall for his tricks.

In one viral video, he goes behind a shopper inside a warehouse and holds a large white PVC tube up to his ear that he makes a noise through.

The man does not take the joke lightly – turning around and grabbing Jay by his waist, lifting him up and knocking him down on the floor.

"You think it's a joke? Aint no f***ing joke!", the man says as he wraps his arm around Jay's neck and presses onto his back.

"Don't f*** with me, you hear me? You don't f*** with me bro."

Jay squirms and screams: "It's a joke, it's a joke!"

A few other men watch on from behind and stare at the pair oddly before the shopper lets go of Jay.

WARNING: Video below contains strong language

Jay wrote in the post: "Definitely not the right guy."

Viewers sided with the shopper – and many found it "satisfying" that the stranger got his own back on the prankster.

"Finally I watch something funny from this guy," one said and a second commented: "So satisfying! That little shrimp deserves it!"

A third pointed out: "The old dude has him in a choke hold and has his knee in his lower back while pulling him upwards.

"He was ready to snap his spine in the plumbing aisle at Home Depot."

A fourth added: "It's about time old school taught him a thing or two."
