Inside Emmerdale couple Laura Norton and Mark Jordon’s gorgeous Yorkshire home as they welcome first child

Mark Jordon, who plays Daz Spencer on Emmerdale, and Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt, began dating back in 2015, after meeting on the set of the hit show.

And now the happy couple, who became engaged back in 2018, have recently welcomed their first child.

The soap stars took to Instagram to announce the news by sharing adorable snaps of the newborn, and Laura, 37, wrote alongside them: “So, on Friday Jan 29th at 1.30am we managed to bring this little champ into the world.

“It was the most incredible, surreal experience I have ever had and probably ever will and my tiny mind is blown.

“He is perfect and we’re all so happy to welcome him to the fam. Jesse Jordon we’re all head over heels IN LOVE with you.”

The pair will no doubt be enjoying the first few days with their little one, and luckily for them they have a gorgeous home in the rolling green hills of Yorkshire to welcome the new addition to their family.

Let’s take a look inside…

The new parents live in a very cosy home in Yorkshire, alongside their new son and adorable pooch.

How stunning is the nature on their doorstep?! This must be such a blessing during the multiple lockdowns we have all had to endure.

This room is very vibrant and filled with trinkets and fairy lights. There is also lots of framed artwork on the walls as well as photographs on the cabinet behind.

The couple are able to relax on this comfy-looking grey sofa. The couch is covered in a selection of brightly-coloured cushions, as well as faux fur one.

The home has this huge kitchen, with light wooden floors. There are cream cabinets and very classy tiled walls, which look brilliant.

Although socialising is forbidden currently, this oak dining table would no doubt have played host to many a dinner party. The window looks out over nature, and appears to be so serene.

From this shot, we can see that the living room is very spacious, with a grey ottoman behind. There is a selection of vinyls in the background, which means there of course must be a record player to enjoy

The room has cream walls and there is also huge colourful paintings hanging behind. It’s nice that the pair are relaxing with a face mask in this snap; we are sure they’ll be doing less of this in the upcoming weeks!
