Sophie Hinchliffe is looking forward to a road trip with her family this week, but made sure to prepare their motor home before setting off.

Sophie, 31, also known as Mrs Hinch, became a household name in 2018 after her cleaning and organisation tips made her an overnight Instagram sensation.

The former hairdresser has since amassed 4.3million followers on the platform, and she and husband Jamie share all elements of family life on their respective accounts.

Sophie is mum to sons Ronnie, two, and Lennie, six months, and is taking all of her boys on a UK road trip this week.

She and Jamie have hired a huge camper van for their staycation, but in true Mrs Hinch fashion, it had to be cleaned top-to-toe and organised to perfection before the trip even began.

Yesterday, the blonde beauty made it her mission to "Hinch up the motor home", and shared the whole process with her adoring fans.

Essex-based Sophie joked that "you know we don't get out much as a family", as everyone – Sophie's mum included – had "squished in the van together".

She added: "It's still just parked on the drive at home and not even plugged in!"

As soon as she was left to clean, Sophie ensured every surface in the motor home was sparkling, starting off by tackling the sink.

Spraying the metal surfaces clean, she added some washing up tools, which will come in handy over the next few days.

She also decorated the kitchen area with some artificial plants to give it a homely feel.

To keep herself on-track when it came to sorting out the home on wheels, Sophie showed her book of lists, which she uses to tick off tasks as she gets through them.

"Yup I have a list for everything, love to tick as I go!" she wrote on her Instagram stories.

After giving everything a quick hoover and scrub, Sophie made sure she lined the bins and gave them a quick spray with a deodoriser.

Then, it was on to sorting out her young sons' spaces.

A short clip showed Sophie and Jamie's eldest son Ronnie placing some of his favourite toys into a personalised cream sack, which read 'Ronnie's Toys'.

A huge fan of personalised items, it's no surprise that Sophie had thought ahead and gotten her two boys a special space to keep all of their toys in one place.

"Maybe I'm crazy but I LOVED it!!" joked the gorgeous blonde.

In the shot you could also see her nappy-changing station, all carefully sorted, with nappies, wipes and plenty of creams all sorted neatly in the cupboard.

Baby Lennie had his own cute sleeping space, which was shown in a later clip.

His cot had a few fluffy toys added to it, such as an adorable owl toy and a furry cloud.

Then it was time to sort the food cupboards, and a fun video transition showed the mum close the door on an empty cupboard, before re-opening a second later only for it to be packed to the brim with food and snacks for the trip.

After what we imagine was a tiring few hours sorting out the home, Sophie gave fans a quick glance over her finished project.

"I'm so ready for tomorrow guys, home Hinch home – on wheels," she wrote as she showed off hers and Jamie's made up bed.

Complete with fluffy grey sheets, a 'chopped' and plumped up cushion, and even a brand new ribbon-tied knitted blanket, the motor home looked like an extension of Sophie's actual home, which is exclusively decorated in shades of grey and white.

By the time the busy mum got in, the sun had set and it was early evening.

The influencer filmed the white and orange camper parked in their drive as she closed the door on it, ready to set off the following morning.
