Jade Thirlwall just celebrated her 30th birthday for the second time with her closest friends and family. The Little Mix star, who stepped into her third decade on Boxing Day, has been known for throwing a few parties around December as her birthday is so close to Christmas.
In her JMAs party post earlier in the month where she dressed up as Lil Kim, she even said: “It’s that time of year where I force my friends to do fancy dress to celebrate my (early) birthday in the hopes of overshadowing Santa.”
But her most recent festivities were a lot different to the celeb-filled bash that included band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Rizzle Kicks boyfriend, Jordan Stephens.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a bunch of stories that gave some behind the scenes access to fans, and they were not disappointed by the Greggs theme.
Her first story showed her holding a personalised bag that each guest received as a party favour.
Jade’s name was placed on the iconic bakery chain’s logo, and below was a slogan that read: “30 never looked so delicious.”
The top of the bag also detailed that each guest would receive custom items in their goody bag, all of which “will have you singing sweet melodies.”
“Pair with a little mojito for ultimate enjoyment,” the rest of the bag read.
Turning the camera around, Jade was then seen laughing, as she captioned the story: “I’m in heaven lmao.”
Amongst the pastry snaps at the party – which was hosted in her hometown of South Shields – Jade also shared some photos of some of her close friends from back home.
“My ride or dies,” she typed, before tagging three of her closest pals.
She also shared a sweet selfie of her with a bottle of XIX Vodka, and thanked them for coming “through with the vibes for both parties.”
The newly 30 year old also posted her 30th birthday cake, which saw an edible version of Jade standing on top of a mound of Greggs sausage rolls and steak bakes.
Music-wise, the evening was also complete with a party band from South Shields, called Two Metres Apart. The lead singer dressed up in the same Lil Kim outfit Jade wore for her pre-birthday party and serenaded the guests with numbers from the classic Jack Black film, School of Rock.
In one of her stories, she documented that the band dressing up as her “was a particular highlight,” plus tagged her bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne (who didn’t seem to be at the bash) as the band played a version of ‘teacher’s Pet.’
By the looks of things, the party was a massive success.
