Off the market again!
Josh Flagg shared that he is dating a mystery man two weeks after announcing his divorce from husband Bobby Boyd.
“After Bobby and I split, I did start to see somebody,” the celebrity real estate broker and “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star, 36, said in an interview with People published Friday.
“I was not looking to date anybody because I was married,” he continued. “We never went on a date until after Bobby and I left our marriage.”
Flagg said that he and his new guy have known each other for years, but further clarified that a romance was never on the table until he and Boyd quietly separated months ago.
“We were friends for a while. It just happened organically. I like him very much, and he’s a very nice guy,” the Bravolebrity said, adding that his beau is “also in real estate.”
Insiders tell Page Six that Flagg has been living at the Beverly Hills Hotel – where he wed Boyd in 2017 – since breaking up with the Versace and Calvin Klein model-turned-real estate agent.
On March 4, Page Six broke the news that Flagg and Boyd decided to end their marriage following a months-long separation. Moments later, Flagg confirmed via Instagram that it was over.
“This was not a rash or impulsive decision. We have been very thoughtful before coming to this conclusion,” he wrote in part. “It was not a lack of love but rather the two of us growing in different directions and wanting very different things for ourselves.”
Flagg will soon have a spacious pad to spend time with his new flame as he recently purchased a 7,100 square-foot manse in the coveted Flats neighborhood of Beverly Hills.
“I have had my eye on this home since I was a little boy. It has not been on the market in close to 60 years,” he told us last week. “It was actually an opportune time because a year ago when it was brought to my attention that the owners may consider selling, I was halfway through renovations on another house that I had hired and fired three contractors, architects, and fought with the city [of Beverly Hills] for close to two years to build what I wanted.”
Flagg added, “But when this came across my desk, I stopped everything and was immediately determined to get this home. It’s always been my favorite home in the [Beverly Hills] Flats.”
Though the home had an asking price of $9,200,000, it was purchased in a trust owned by Flagg for an undisclosed amount in an off-market transaction, he confirmed to Page Six.
The LA native said that he had been “essentially aggressively courting the owners” to sell him the house for years and was thrilled to finally get his name on the title.
“If you push and push hard enough, eventually I find that you get what you want,” he noted.
