It’s safe to say nobody needed to pinch Kate Middleton on St. Patrick’s Day.

To celebrate the holiday on Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, and husband Prince William joined other world leaders in sharing a special video message with the people of Ireland, and they certainly dressed for the occasion.

Middleton donned a double-breasted textured jacket from Zara ($89.90) in apple green, which is sadly now sold out.

She accessorized with British designer Daniella Draper’s gold shamrock necklace ($390) and matching mini hoop earrings, the latter of which are no longer available. The Duchess debuted both jewelry pieces during her royal trip to Ireland last year.

Prince William, 38, coordinated with his wife in a hunter green Polo Ralph Lauren crewneck sweater for the St. Patrick’s Day message. He kicked off the greeting by speaking a bit of Irish; when Middleton continued in English, he asked, “How come you got the easy bit?”

“We were so thrilled to be able to visit Ireland just over a year ago, a few short weeks before all of our lives were turned upside down by the pandemic,” the Duke of Cambridge continued.

Added the Duchess, “The warm welcome we received everywhere was a testament to the friendship between our two countries, and the strength of the relationship between the UK and Ireland.”

William finished by acknowledging that this year’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities “won’t be the same as normal,” adding, “We hope you can celebrate safely, in any case.”
