Kate Middletons Christmas outfit regret as she admitted she shouldnt have worn this

When it comes to Christmas, we rarely see the Royal Family enjoying the festivities.

However, the one time we do see them is as they take part in the traditional visit to St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day in Sandringham – which wont be happening this year due to Covid fears.

Throughout the years we have seen Kate Middleton stun on each of these occasions, however it has been revealed that there was one outfit in particular that she wasn't a fan of.

In 2019, the Duchess stepped out with her children and Prince William, who sporting a gorgeous grey Catherine Walker coat.

The garment was made from a heavy wool and came with a matching faux fur trim ,so that the then 30 year old not only kept warm but also stuck to Royal dressing protocols.

She might have looked calm, cool and collected on the outside, but it has been reported that underneath the heavy fabric, she was feeling the heat of the beaming winter sun.

During a conversation with one of the many fans that lined the path to speak to the Royals, Kate told 19 year old Rachel Anvil that she wasn't feeling entirely comfortable.

Rachel's mum, Karen, told the Metro that "Kate was talking to my daughter about clothes and how she was feeling too hot, she said 'I really shouldn’t have worn this'."

She continued: "I’m there talking to Charlotte about dolls and my daughter’s talking about fashion with Kate.

‘It wasn’t fake it was a genuine discussion, it was about a minute but it was tailored to my daughter, it was like speaking to a friend. They are totally different with the public."

Not only is it deemed unladylike but it also poses a risk of the person then looking flustered or not composed.

As well as this, the ladies' coats must always finish below the knee, making sure they remain dignified and follow The Queen's rules.

Keeping true to her impeccable style, Kate teamed the garment with a green Sylvia Fletcher hat green suede block heels, and of course a nude pair of tights, which is also an outfit requirement by Queen Elizabeth.

It was also clear how the Duchess had sweetly coordinated her look with Princess Charlotte's matching green coat.
