Kelly Dodd denies ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ firing rumors

Kelly Dodd is standing by what she said.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, 45, defended herself after calling Chrissy Teigen “mean” amid the model’s cyberbullying scandal.

“I’m not a hypocrite,” the notoriously controversial Dodd wrote in the comments section of Page Six’s Instagram on Monday after two users wrote, “Pot meet kettle” and “The shoe fits ma’am!!!” about her.

The reality star first reacted to Teigen’s recent downfall earlier on Monday, commenting on Page Six’s Instagram, “What’s ironic is that she has the audacity to say, I’m mean and our show is hard to watch because it’s so mean. Karma is a bitch #rhoc.”

Teigen, 35, found herself in hot water earlier this month when Courtney Stodden, who uses “they/them” pronouns, claimed that the “Cravings” cookbook author had once told them to kill themselves.

Teigen apologized to Stodden, 26, in a lengthy Twitter thread, writing, “Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls–t in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be.

“I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Stodden claimed that they never directly heard from Teigen, and the “Lip Sync Battle” co-host subsequently lost deals with Bloomingdales and Macy’s amid the backlash.

Meanwhile, Dodd has a history of her own questionable behavior.

The Bravolebrity claimed last year that COVID-19 was “God’s way of thinning the herd” and has since repeatedly mocked the pandemic, leading to her firing from Positive Beverage in February.

Dodd also alleged that she was African American in an attempt to deflect from her history of troubling racial comments, including one remark that she “[doesn’t] like black guys.”
