Lady Gaga’s makeup artist shows ‘aftermath’ of Oscars transformation

She’s far from being “Shallow” now.

On Wednesday, Lady Gaga shared two makeup-free selfies on Instagram, lounging in bed while wearing a pale pink sweatshirt.

Gaga posted the photos to celebrate her beauty line, Haus Labs, launching in the UK.

“I’ve always been so inspired by beauty and fashion from the UK, and how bold and innovative it is,” the “Joker: Folie à Deux” actress captioned the laid-back snaps.

Gaga said she started Haus Labs “as a company that is also bold and innovative in its artistry and formulas, combining beautiful colors with skin-loving ingredients that make our makeup good for your skin.”

The pop phenom’s beauty brand hopped into the comments, writing, “Def feeling the love from across the pond 🥹 The future is beautiful!💚”

It’s not the only time in recent months that Gaga’s gone cosmetics-free.

At March’s Oscars, she made headlines by performing her “Top Gun: Maverick” tune, “Hold My Hand,” without a stitch of makeup on, just a couple of hours after walking the awards show’s red carpet with a full face of glam.

Her transformation was so striking, fans begged to know what kind of makeup remover she used pre-performance — especially after her makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, shared a photo of the “aftermath.”

For those interested, Tanno has touted the powers of Lancôme Bi-Facial Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover ($43, originally $50), having praised the “old school” favorite in a 2019 Harper’s Bazaar interview.

Tanno also said her superstar client turned her on to argan oil as a makeup remover.

“If you have heavy eye makeup or waterproof products, just straight-up argan oil is really great to just remove everything and melt it off,” she told the outlet. “I learn so much from [Gaga]!”

While the “Applause” singer’s famous for her dramatic fashion and beauty statements, perhaps fans now think she looks most like herself with a bare face; when she posted a TikTok in full glam to plug her Haus Labs products last month, fans deemed her “unrecognizable.”
