After two months on our screens,Love Island may be over but that doesn’t mean that the drama and romance from inside the villa has come to a close.

As any fan of the hit ITV2 show will know, soon after leaving the show, the contestants reunite for one last reunion where they revisit the highs and lows of their time in the villa.

And with the Love Island reunion set to air on August 7, filming for the show has already taken place and, judging by reports on social media, it appears that the show won’t disappoint viewers at home.

So, let’s take a peek at some of the reunion show’s craziest moments…

Coco and Summer’s “heated exchange”

According to one guest at the event, former bombshells Coco Lodge and Summer Botwe reportedly got caught up in a “very heated exchange” which led producers to intervene.

Writing on Twitter, the user claimed: “Just been at the #LoveIsland reunion episode filming, very heated exchange between coco and summer production had to step in and close it down [emoji]”

“Summer made a comment about friends not being real friends on the outside, and coco was trying to defend herself by saying "It was all banter", kept going back and forth over the boys (josh & billy) for a fair few minutes, production obvs had no idea of context from podcast ep”

“Coco left after that exchange and we had to cheer her to come back in … luca ran over to Jay, Charlie and antigonis table to get the gossip as the reaction on the sofa was a bit mad [emoji]”.

Luca’s honest response to not winning

AfterEkin-Su Culculoglu andDavide Sanclimenti were crowned winners of Love Island,it was revealed that they received a whopping 63.69% of the public vote whileGemma Owen and Luca Bish – who came in second – had only 14.47%.

Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came in third place, and had 11.77% of the vote, asTasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were fourth with 10.07%.

When the Twitter user was asked whether the Islanders were told the voting figures, they replied: “THEY DID!! AND THEY WERE SHOOK [laughing emoji]”.

“They also showed a vt of the islanders reactions right after the result in the villa and luca said he was fuming Hahaha that got a great reaction,” they added.

Jacques’ alleged reunion snub

While the reunion is a great opportunity for the Islanders to regroup and reminisce over their time on the show, not every contestant was in attendance.

Jacques O'Neill, who sensationally left the villa early, reportedly missed the show as well as the reunion party.

Speaking ahead of yesterday’s reunion, a source toldThe Sun : “Unfortunately Jacques has decided he’s just not ready to see Paige quite yet and especially not with Adam.

“He’s made the decision to wait for a more suitable moment to talk to her again after everything he’s been through.”

Deji and Lacey’s “awkward” meeting

During the show,a brutal twist saw four Islanders dumped from the ITV2 villa at once, with the public voting for their most compatible couple.

With Lacey Edwards and Deji Adeniyi only recently coupling up, the pair were sent home alongside fellow contestants Nathalia Campos and Reece Ford.

Despite being coupled up and able to give their shot at romance a go on the outside world, the Twitter user claims that things between Deji and Lacey were “awkward” at the reunion.

“No talk of Jacques to Paige, Danica and Jamie seem happy together but Deji and Lacey gor a bit awkward as it seems he's not made the effort to take her out yet… she was deffo putting the pressure on,” they wrote.
