If you reckon you can handle the heat, then McDonald's has just the burger for you.

The fast food giant is bringing its spiciest ever burger to the UK to spice up your summer.

It's so hot on your tongues that the chain is giving away a free bottle of milk to help you cool down.

For just £5,49, the McSpicy burger will be hitting UK menus on July 14, so make sure that's written in your diaries!

It will come with succulent chicken fillet with a spicy coating on a bed of cool lettuce and mayo, between two buns.

But you must be careful as it comes with a serious kick, so do you think you can handle it?

And if you want to try it but you're scared, McDonald's will give away a free Happy Meal Milk with all McSpicy purchases on the app.

To celebrate its arrival, the chain lit up restaurants in two locations of the UK with the highest and lowest tolerance to spice.

It comes after a poll of 5,000 UK adults looked into their attitudes to all things spicy.

The stats found which UK cities can best handle their heat by asking each respondent to score how much spice they can handle.

People were asked to give their results based on a scale of 1-10.

The results revealed that Wolverhampton locals can handle the spice, while Norwich residents weren't really feeling it.

Just remember the McSpicy burger will be around for a limited time of six weeks, so you've got until August 24 to try it.

It will join the current limited edition line-up of the BBQ Bacon Stack, Mozzarella Dippers, Aero Chocolate and Aero Mint McFlurries.
