DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN we went to an art gallery on a holiday tour, my husband wasn’t interested in the paintings.
But he couldn’t keep his eyes off a tall blonde woman with big breasts.
It’s made me feel insecure and I worry he’s not attracted to me.
We’ve been married for 20 years. I’m 48, he’s 50 and we have a grown-up daughter.
This was our first holiday after she left home. It was a chance to enjoy being free of responsibility again.
However, my husband was entranced by this woman, the physical opposite of me.
He says he doesn’t even remember her, but I think he’s lying. If I hadn’t been there I’m sure he’d have flirted with her.

DEIDRE SAYS: Perhaps there are other parts of the relationship that are making you unhappy, or your husband doesn’t compliment you enough.
Talk to him about your insecurities.
Ask him to be more mindful of how you feel, and see if he can help you think better about yourself and your relationship.
It does sound like your self-esteem is low, so I’m sending my support pack on Self-Esteem to help you build your confidence.
