Priscilla Presley announced that her mother, Anna Lillian Iversen, died Tuesday at age 95 in an emotional Instagram post.
“I am heartbroken. My beautiful mother passed today. She was the light of our lives,” the ex-wife of the late Elvis Presley wrote alongside a photo of her mom smiling beside a colorful bouquet of flowers.
Presley, 76, expressed how important her mother was to her family and how selfless of a person she was.
“She never wanted any attention on herself. Her children were her everything,” she wrote. “May you Rest In Peace mom. You will always be with us. ❤️”
Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough, 32, also took to social media to remember her great-grandmother.
“We lost our beautiful Nana this morning. She was an incredible woman and mother. Rest In Peace nana ❤️,” Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, said.
Fans flooded the comments sections of their respective social media pages with support.
“I’m sorry for you loss dear sending a lots of comfort and love 🙏🏽,” one person wrote.
“Prayers and love to you and your family 🙏❤️,” another added.
Lisa Marie shares Riley, and son Benjamin, who died by suicide at age 27 in 2020, with her ex-husband Danny Keough. Lisa, who has yet to comment on her grandma’s death, also has two other kids with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
Meanwhile, Priscilla — who was married to the “Hound Dog” singer from 1967 to 1973 — shared Lisa with Elvis and has another kid, 34-year-old son Navarone, from a previous relationship to Marco Garibaldi.
Navarone also commemorated his grandmother with a post to his Instagram, writing, “Rest In Peace to the sweetest lady that ever lived. I love you Nanna.”
Iversen’s cause of death has not yet been revealed. Page Six has reached out for comment.
