Jo De La Rosa may finally become a (house)wife.
The former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star announced her engagement to boyfriend Taran Gray Peirson over the weekend.
“Still feel like I’m dreaming,” De La Rosa wrote, captioning a photo of her showing off a large engagement ring while laying in bed with the music producer.
“The day after but last night, I said yes 💍.”
Peirson shared an up-close image of the ring, writing, “Jo Peirson has a nice “ring” to it. 😏💍.”
De La Rosa and Peirson met on the Hinge during the pandemic in June 2020. In December, the former reality star introduced her “boyfriend” on her vlog and shared that she signed up for the dating app because she was bored.
The pair spent two weeks talking online before upgrading to phone calls and using Zoom to connect. For three months the couple kept their relationship digital with phone and Zoom calls — even saying “I love you” before having met in person.
“I just felt like we had so much in common,” De La Rosa explained in the vlog. “So, in the past, I’ve dated a lot of business guys. So you were — he was — a breath of fresh air because I was working in a really creative industry and so it was just nice to connect over that.”
Prior to this relationship, in 2015 she announced she was engaged to CEO Mark Lovette, as reported by Us Weekly, but it’s unclear if they ever actually made it down the aisle.
When “Real Housewives of Orange County” premiered in 2006, De La Rosa was the youngest “Housewife” on the show at age 23, and was at the time engaged to Slade Smiley — who famously went on to have a relationship with fellow “RHOC” alum Gretchen Rossi.
De La Rosa left the reality show after the first two seasons.
