‘Ridiculous’ and picky Starbucks order makes barista ‘want to quit’ job

Some people can be fussy when it comes to how their coffee is made.

However, one Starbucks customer took things to the next level with their latest drink order.

The coffee lover, named Edward, had clearly decided to treat himself to one of the chain's Frappuccino drinks.

However, he had quite a few specifications for the creamy concoction.

Rather than asking for a simple mocha drizzle or extra shot of coffee, this person ended up requesting no less than 13 add-ons or alterations.

This included extra caramel drizzle, extra whip, extra ice, seven pumps of caramel sauce and he wanted the drink double blended.

Edward's lengthy order were shared by his server Josie, who took to Twitter to reveal his demands.

She shared a snap of the drink complete with its label listing all of the alterations with her 5,000+ followers.

Josie simply wrote: "On today's episode of why I wanna quit my job."

The post has since gone viral, racking up more than 20,000 retweets and 143,000 likes.

One person replied: "I was behind a woman who had an order that ridiculous and insisted it be heated to 37 degrees celsius… 'not 36, not 38–I will KNOW the difference'."

While another added: "I don’t even know what half of that stuff is , I worked there like 10 years ago when there wasn’t as many options lol."

A third chimed in: "This simply wouldn't be allowed here in Sydney! Phhhtt… that's not a coffee order – that's a dessert recipe!"

While a fourth person, who clearly used to work at Starbucks, also chipped in, adding: "I'm so glad I left."

Despite many slamming the coffee order, some didn't see the problem with it.

One argued: "People who don't enjoy making customised coffee drinks shouldn't work where people come to buy customised coffee. If I agree to pay a ridiculous price, I get to ask for ridiculous coffee."

The news comes after Starbucks launched its limited-edition blue Bubbletastic Frappuccino with popping candy last month.

We wonder how many alterations Edward would make to that…?!
