Seven questions that Friends: The Reunion must answer

After what seems like a lifetime (could we be any more patient?), Friends: The Reunion is finally here. Hosted by James Corden, the HBO special hits streaming platform Binge at 5:02 pm (AEST) on Thursday, so tell your boss that something has come up because your Friends need you.

The special was initially confirmed in February 2020, but then COVID happened, and the whole world was on a break. Fast forward to March this year, and the reunion was back on with all six original cast members reuniting on the original Friends set at Stage 24, Warner Bros Studio.

A trailer dropped last week promising plenty of tears and tender moments but what fans truly crave are answers to questions that have been bothering them for the past 16 years: Why doesn’t Joey share food? Who is Ugly Naked Guy? And Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, what are they feeding you?

In the interest of fan curiosity worldwide, here are seven burning questions Friends: The Reunion must address.

Do the cast ever hang out at each other’s apartments (hahaha, mansions)?

For the best part of a decade, the Friends stars felt like family; we laughed, we cried, we pivoted. It was clear that a genuine connection existed between the actors. While it’s common knowledge that Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have remained close, it would be heartwarming to discover that the cast still hangs out.

Please tell us that Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey still catch up for brunch or lunch, or better yet, the occasional trivia night?

Friends: The Reunion will air on Binge at 5.02pm AEST on Thursday.
