Sex with my boyfriend is so boring – but he says I'm bad in bed

DEAR DEIDRE: SEX with my boyfriend is predictable and boring and yet he has the cheek to say I am crap in bed. He has a real nerve.

He is 27 and I am 25. Even though I am often left unsatisfied, I would never complain to him and I find it hurtful that he thinks it’s OK to put me down.

He has even shown me photos of girls he’s had flings with in the past and gone into graphic detail about what they did to him in bed.

He then told me that every single woman he has been with before me was far better than me in bed.

Lately we have hardly had sex at all and I really miss being desired. I used to get so much attention from men and now I get absolutely nothing from him.

When I’m with him my confidence is rock bottom. I’ve started to think about having one-night stands just so I can get some satisfaction.

DEIDRE SAYS: It doesn’t sound like you are getting a lot out of this relationship. Someone who loves you shouldn’t want to put you down and strip you of all confidence.

Perhaps you ought to start complaining about his performance too! Tell him you don’t feel satisfied and unless you can improve your sex life, wonder if you have a relationship at all.

Think about whether your boyfriend is going to make you happy or not, rather than put up with an unfulfilling relationship with affairs on the side.
