Ashley Jacobs is getting hitched.
The former reality star, who appeared on Season 5 of “Southern Charm” as Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend, announced on Instagram Tuesday that she is engaged to Mike Appel.
“My fiancé!! (Kinda has a nice “ring” to it!) ?,” Jacobs, 35, captioned a slideshow of pictures from the proposal, which took place on the ski slopes of Park City, Utah.
The California-based nurse met Appel, 40, in the summer of 2019 at a rooftop party in Santa Barbara, according to People.
The pair previously confirmed their relationship on Instagram in December 2019, with Jacobs throwing a slight jab at 58-year-old Ravenel.
“Found someone close to my own age!!” she captioned a picture of her and Appel, adding a winking face emoji. “Thanks for making me smile!!”
Jacobs dated Ravenel from May 2018 to August 2019, and openly clashed with the mother of Ravenel’s two children, Kathryn Dennis, on “Southern Charm.”
“I don’t want to comment but there are just some things I’m trying to handle privately,” she said at the time of the split. “Before I say too much, I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas. I’ll always care about him.”
But Ravenel seemed to imply that Jacobs had been unfaithful to him, tweeting, “After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love.”
Jacobs denied the allegations.
In December, Ravenel announced that he is engaged to Heather Mascoe five months after welcoming their first child together. He also recently won temporary custody of his two children with Dennis: 6-year-old Kensie and 4-year-old Saint.
