Stylist's life hack for squeezing the last drop of product from tube

Stylist’s life hack for squeezing the last drop of product from ANY tube: ‘How did I not know this until now’

  • Stylist Rosalinda shared the useful hack with her Instagram followers
  • The hack involves chopping the end off the tube and inserting the lid
  • It has been hailed as ‘genius’ by the stylist’s followers who want to save money

A fashion stylist has revealed the best way to get the last few drops out of every tube using a very simple hack.

Perth-based Rosalinda posted the hack on her Instagram StylebyRosalinda, admitting she was embarrassed she hadn’t learned it earlier.

She started the video by cutting the top off a small, almost empty tube.

Perth-based Rosalinda posted the hack on her Instagram StylebyRosalinda last month, admitting she was embarrassed she hadn’t learned it earlier

She then placed the lid inside the cavity and pushed it down with cotton-tips, forcing the rest of the product into a dish.

‘I saw this hack online and had to try it for myself. I’m a little embarrassed at the processes I previously used to get the remaining product out of tube,’ she said.

Before asking if she was the only person in the dark about the product-saving hack.

The video has been seen more than 7,000 times, becoming one of the stylist’s most popular reels to date.

And most people were prepared to admit they had never tried the hack.

‘I hate waste, I am going to do this from now on,’ one woman said.

The hack works with all products in a tube, she explained, not just toothpaste.

‘I am going to try with my skincare products too,’ she said.

Some of her followers said they simply ‘cut tubes in half’ and stick their tooth brush inside.

‘You can get an extra week’s worth of tooth paste,’ agreed another.

Others laughed about people really ‘needing the last one percent’.

But many people agreed the rising cos of living means they are saving everywhere they can.

Rosalinda told FEMAIL she was surprised by the popularity of the reel and the ‘passionate’ debate it sparked.
