A Greggs superfan was left speechless after discovering the bakery’s outlet, where prices are much cheaper than on the high street. 

Cory, from Barry, Wales, took his TikTok followers on a tour of one of the 30 Greggs outlet shops the chain counts across the country, where they sell their items for 75 per cent less than in regular shops. 

The Greggs enthusiast, who insisted he had not been paid by the bakery chain to promote the outlet, could not get over how cheap everything in the store was, from 55p doughnuts to £1.25 deal for two pastries. 

That’s because the outlet sell the treats that didn’t sell in previous days at other stores. In comparison, the chain’s popular sausage roll retails at £1.15 a piece in the regular shops, when it is fresh. 

Viewers shared Cory’s amazement as he took them on a journey around the shop and highlighted the low prices.

‘Not an AD, just in shock and had to share it with you all. OMG so cheap,’ the Greggs fan said in the clip. 

The shop was filled with sandwiches, savoury and sweet treats, some costing less than £1. 

 Cory joking called the store ‘second hand Greggs,’ adding: ‘Oh my god, it’s so cheap.

‘£1.25 for two pasties – proper nice and a proper bargain as well,’ he said. 

‘Corned beef pasties, festive bakes, cheese and bean melts. Ring doughnuts, £1.25 and any baguette, £1.05,’ he said while filming. 

‘Four Pudsey Bear biscuits for 55p. Doughnuts 55p and sausage rolls, £1.55 for four.

‘That’s why they call me Greggs on legs,’ he joked. 

After he shared his video, which gathered more than 110,000 likes, Cory had many viewers’ mouths watering at the outlet store low prices.

The food enthusiast was also over the moon that the outlet shop sold four sausage rolls for £1.25

One viewers called the shop ‘a student’s dream.’

‘Proper nice and a proper bargain as well,’ another said. 

 ‘I love it! We call it cheapy Greggs,’ one said. 

‘This is how Greggs should be priced normally,’ another wrote. 

There are 30 Greggs outlet the country, with the brand planning to open 20 more by 2025.

Initially, they opened in disadvantaged areas with sustainability in mind.  

Items are sent to these shops if factories nearby have made too many batches or if the treats are misshapen. 

They also send the pastries that didn’t sell at full price to these stores, where they’re stocked until they go out of date and sold for up to 75 off of the initial price.  

While the shops are mostly located in the north of England Scotland, a few of them can be found in Wales, and one is located in Canning Town, East London.  

Viewers shared Cory’s enthusiasm for the bargains, with one saying Greggs should be selling these items at the lower prices in their normal stores
