A tattoo 'addict' mum who gets three new designs a week looked unrecognisable after she covered her face with makeup – but left her small kids 'scared'.
Melissa Sloan decided to change her look after being barred from the pub and allegedly having to watch her children's nativity play outside.
The 46-year-old, who lives in Wales, decided to see what she looked like before she became a walking canvas.

The alternative looking parent covered her face with foundation – and looked so different her eight and 10-year-olds "burst" into tears.
The young children have never seen their mum without face tattoos as Melissa started inking her face 10 years ago.
Even her pet pooch Polly didn't know who she was…
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Melissa explained: "It took me ages. I bought one [foundation] for £3 and thought I'd try it that way.
"I put it on for about half an hour and when I went downstairs the kids freaked out because they didn't like it.
"And my partner looked twice he said 'no, it don't suit you. Get your tattoos back, it looks weird'. They [my kids] burst out crying and even my dog looked twice.
"She didn't like me that way, my youngest wanted me back as I was. It scared her."
Although Melissa wanted to "challenge" herself, it did not go down too well with her primary school aged kids.
"I wanted a change," she admitted. "I wanted to challenge myself but the kids were scared they wanted me back.
"They were frightened of me with makeup on – it scared them to death and they wouldn't come by me!"
After applying layers of the Maybelline Superstay foundation that usually retails for £10, Melissa had a hard time scrubbing the long-lasting '30 hour' product off.
But, in the meantime, she got a new found taste of 'experimenting' with an inkless face.
"To wash it off it took 24 hours, it's still on there a little bit," the mum claimed.
"I enjoyed myself doing it, it was different. I might do it again actually with different wigs and try and go out like it now and again.
"I'm going to buy some more and some different lipstick – I just like to experiment."
Next time, Melissa plans to cover her inkings without her kids present as she doesn't want to scare them again.
Melissa said: "The kids got frightened and thought I wasn't their mum – I'm different – as they haven't seen my [tattoo free] skin in ages.
"These trolls say to me my kids are scared but they are scared of me with my foundation on. People don't realise that, they are small minded."
Previously, Melissa revealed she can't get a job because of her extreme look – but would consider applying the heavy makeup if that meant she could be employed.
"I wish someone out there would offer me a job so it would shut their mouths up," Melissa urged.
"No one has come up yet, have they? Not one person has come forward so what's that saying!
"If they wanted me to do that [ cover my tattoos with makeup] I wouldn't mind doing that."
Despite saying that, getting her tattoos removed entirely is not in the pipeline for Melissa any time soon.
"I can't be normal," she said. "I'll be boring if I'm plain skinned – I like to be a wild child.
"I'd be boring wouldn't I, sat there watching Coronation Street with a cup of tea and nothing else or sitting in a chair with knitting needles.
"I'm going to go all the way until I'm 50,60, 70 – I can't stop now."
Melissa won't stop getting inked even if her 'legs fall off'.
The mum got first tattoo at the age of 20 and has not stopped with the body modifications since.
"I'll still carry on even if my leg was coming off – I will still have to have the tattoo done," the mum-of-two added.
