A teacher has spilled on some "unique" names she's come across in the classroom as parents compete to out-do each other with weirdness.

In the clip, TikTok user @Ttcskrb shares some of the wackiest ones she’s ever heard and it seems twins tend to get the worst deal when it comes to joke baby names.

She says: "So, I am a teacher and during my pre-service placements I've heard some pretty unique children's names that they've had in class.

"These three that I'm about to say are the most unique and most unforgettable names, erm, ever."

In one class, she claims she taught a pair of male twin boys called Orangejello and Yellowjello and say it was "pretty funny”.

But the next name was even odder and a bit of a head-scratcher.

The teacher adds: "The next one was a little girl, her name was spelled out 'H-i-j-k-m-n-o' and her name was Noelle."

Unsurprisingly, the video was watched more than 2.8 million times and more than 8,000 people rushed to comment on the weird monikers, with many admitting they felt sorry for the kids.

For people that didn't get the pun, the third name "Hijkmno" is part of the English alphabet but is missing the "L" from the middle – making the name "No L", or "Noelle", as the teacher says in the video.

Other people in the comments shared other "unique" names they've come across throughout life.

A viewer said: "I knew someone named 'La-a'… it was pronounced 'La-dash-a.'"

"I’m a PE teacher and one of my second graders is named velocity," said a second.

In a truly cringe-inducing story, another viewer claimed: "Chlamydia – my friend’s mom is a nurse and they told the mom she had chlamydia and the mom said it sounded pretty and named her daughter that."

"I went to school with a set of twins named Ima and Yura and their last name was Hog," said a fourth viewer.
