A huge debate has opened up among shoppers after Tesco updated its self-checkout machines to a new style.
The supermarket’s self-checkout tills now add up your savings while you scan rather than all at once when you go to pay.
Some shoppers loved the new system, but not everyone agreed.
One happy customer posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group to share her excitement.
She saved £31.50 on her shop, paying just £13.50.
Posting in the group, she said: "Anybody else loving the new self serve tills at Tesco that add up your savings as you go?"

While she praised the new system, a debate started up in the comments, reports Manchester Evening News.
One person said: "I find self service the best, I can go at my own pace and don’t have to speak to the miserable people they normally put on the checkouts.
“Some of the staff are horrendous at some of the supermarkets near me.”
People really liked not having to speak to anyone while shopping.
Another wrote: "I’m gonna be that one, I love self checkout as someone with severe anxiety, not having to deal with a person is great.
“Also have people forgotten these aren’t exactly new are they."
But, others loved self-serve systems, and one commenter wrote: "Self serve are great for people with social anxiety!
“Not to mention during the pandemic not everyone wants to use a manned till!"
Other people were concerned that self-checkouts put staff out of work.
