Wendy Williams shows swollen foot, only has ‘5 percent’ of feeling in feet

Fans of “The Wendy Williams Show” noticed on Monday that its social media channels had been deleted just two weeks after the final episode aired.

The website had been scrubbed completely, while its Instagram and YouTube accounts could no longer be found.

The iconic daytime talk show – which first premiered in 2008 – was on air for 13 seasons and came to an end on June 17 after its namesake host, Wendy Williams, suffered various health problems.

Much to the fans’ disappointment, Williams was unable to be part of the send-off episode but the show did include a video tribute to the host.

Sherri Shepherd, who served as a guest host over the past year, will now be taking over Williams’ time slot with her own talk show, “Sherri,” which is set to premiere in the fall.

While the show’s digital footprint may be gone, the “Think Like a Man” star was able to recuperate her iconic purple chair from the set before being thrown out. She now plans to include it on her upcoming podcast, which is still being developed.

Williams’ manager, Will Selby, confirmed the move and told The Sun last week, “That was [Wendy’s] and it signifies the old chapter closing as we start the new one.

“We are going to take it and that will be part of her new show.”

Williams, 57, had decided to take a break from hosting in 2020 after dealing with COVID-19, mental health-related issues and fatigue from her Graves’ disease.

Back in 2018, she announced that she had been diagnosed with the disease, which causes the immune system to attack the thyroid, and has been dealing with a multitude of problems since then.

On top of that, Williams also suffers from lymphedema, which is caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system. And just last week, the iconic talk show host claimed it had gotten worse and now has “maybe five percent” feeling left in her feet.

“Do you see this?” Williams said to TMZ while showing off her swollen leg. “[My foot] is up and down. I can only feel maybe five percent of my feet, do you understand?”
