This woman’s pizza slid to the floor as she slept on the train… and people are FURIOUS with her

WHETHER you've had a heavy night on the town or a tiring day at work, its so easy to doze off on the train ride home.

And that's exactly what happened to one woman early on Saturday morning as she travelled on the tube through London.

It's unclear if she had been taking advantage of the long bank holiday weekend by having a big night out, or was travelling home after a long night shift at work.

But while she enjoyed a short nap, the huge pizza box that she had been clutching had fallen off her knee.

Her takeaway pizza inside had also slid out of the box and was resting on the floor of the tube train below.

A picture of the woman snoozing without knowing she had dropped her pizza was snapped by BBC reporter James Longman, who posted it on Twitter.

He wrote: "Big night (it's 8am)" and uploaded it to social media early on Saturday morning.

He even suggested starting a crowd-funding page so he could buy the woman a new pizza.

The image went viral and was retweeted more than 22,000 times and liked by 57,000 people.

But people were quick to point out how furious they were with the woman for not being more careful with her takeaway.

Riley tweeted: "What a waste" while Loader wrote: "I'm so sad she's wasted so much pizza, a HUGE one at that."

Sarah said: "What a waste of pizza. Talk about a tube ride of shame."

And James posted: "Would be so devastated all those lovely carbs have gone to waste."

But other people retweeting the picture were adamant the woman could still eat the takeaway, especially as there was a sheet of paper between the pizza and the floor.

Christopher said: "It's still on the paper, totally edible."

Another person wrote: "The paper has rescued the pizza, it's not yet touched the floor – all is good."

While Reese tweeted: "Technically, the pizza doesn't have direct contact with the floor so it's till salvageable."
