A young TikToker has spooked her followers on the platform after posting a video of herself in which a man appears to come out of nowhere in the background.

Tara Lee Page, 23, posted a video of herself standing in Chinatown in the West End, London, while other people walk past her in the background.

The fashion graduate created the video by using live photos taken on her iPhone, which play a tiny clip of the photo they have taken.

As she stands in front of the camera, a man in a khahi jacket pushing a pram approaches her in the background, before momentarily disappearing from view behind her.

When he reappears, he is magically joined by a second man who was not there before, which has freaked out viewers of the video.

Posting the clips on her TikTok channel, Tara wrote: ‘Where does the second man come from? POV: living in the matrix.’

She captioned the video suggesting the second man was a ‘time traveller’ or suggesting he may have ‘teleported’ into the shot.

Tara wrote: ‘Where does the second man come from????’

Commenting on the video, people said the man who appears from nowhere must be a ‘wizard’ after he magically entered the shot.

Tara Lee Page sent TikTok viewers into a frenzy when she posted a video of herself in Chinatown in London as a man walked behind her pushing a pram – but when he re-emerged in the shot he was with another man who seemed to appear from nowhere

Some more sceptical viewers who don’t believe in magic accused Tara of cutting the footage to make it look like the man had come from nowhere.

However she clarified: ‘I can confirm the video is not cut, it’s just a screen recording of a Live Photo and I thought it was weird.’

Some viewers who had watched the video several times shared their theories as to how the clip came to be.

One person said: ‘The second man walks toward the girl from behind which is out of frame. The first man is walking across.’

But as viewers rushed to comment on the video, which has more than 125,000 likes, they spotted even more details that freaked them out.

A viewer said: ‘Another thing I noticed is that they both have a hand on the pram but they’re hands are crossed over.’
