Body Coach Joe Wicks announces return of ‘PE with Joe’

PE With Joe, much like celebrating the likes of Captain Tom Moore and baking banana bread, was one of the positives which came out of the first lockdown. When the world was forced to stop in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus, this meant people weren’t moving as much and getting their daily dose of exercise. However, health and fitness guru Joe Wicks was soon at hand to resolve this problem.

In response to the world experiencing its first lockdown, Joe started up PE With Joe, a series of live videos where viewers could train along with him in their homes.

He would schedule 40-minute sessions during the week on YouTube for anyone to tune in to and people from across the world followed along.

Joe stopped PE With Joe midway through last year but after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced England’s third lockdown, the former personal trainer has decided to bring them back.

There isn’t too much longer either to wait to kickstart exercising along with Joe again.

What time is PE with Joe on YouTube?

PE With Joe is going to be brought back from tomorrow, Monday, January 11.

These sessions will be available to watch on YouTube and will begin at 9am.

To get access to the videos, all you have to do is go to Joe’s YouTube channel The Body Coach TV and the live video will start.

The live videos will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, all from 9am.

Videos for PE With Joe this time around will be a lot shorter than the first lockdown.

Rather than 40 minutes, they will last just 20 minutes each so there’s no excuse for people not to join in who usually say they have no time to stay fit.

One reason for these videos being shorter is that they are mainly aimed at children.

As primary and secondary schools are closed again because of the lockdown, Joe thought it was important to provide these live sessions to keep youngsters physically and mentally well.

When announcing the news via Instagram, Joe explained: “I’ve got some great news, I’ve decided I need to come back and be there for children during this time, through this lockdown when schools are closed to keep their exercise up, to keep their activities there, their energy, their mood, their mental health.

“Children at home, they’re not being as active.

“Their mental health is going to suffer and we need to be getting our kids moving.”

While these new workouts are aimed at children, all family members are being encouraged to take part.

In some of his previous videos, Joe’s wife former glamour model Rosie Wicks featured to join in some of the activities.

When PE With Joe came to an end the first time around, Joe also got their young children daughter India and son Marley involved.

So fans of the Essex personal trainer may be seeing more of the Wicks family in the latest PE With Joe videos.

PE With Joe is available to watch on YouTube.
