The final of MasterChef is due to air on Wednesday 14 April, with many waiting in anticipation to find out just who will be crowned champion.

And hosting the panel will be trusty duo and faces of the show, John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Gregg, who lives in a stunning £1 million Kent mansion, has fronted MasterChef since 2005 alongside John.

He’s known for his impassioned facial expressions and lively personality – but who is cheering him on at home?

Well, Gregg is married to wife Anna, and has been since 2016. Here’s we take a look at everything you need to know about her, and how they met.

Who is Gregg Wallace’s wife?

Gregg’s wife connected with him on social media some years ago.

She asked Gregg whether rhubarb really went with duck after seeing the star try out a recipe on a TV show.

Anna, whose full name is Anne-Marie Sterpini, is a caterer and her parents are Italian.

Anna, who is 21 years Gregg’s junior, initially met the star in 2013 and they waited three years before tying the knot.

They married in a gorgeous ceremony in 2016 and his co-host John Torode was his best man on the big day.

The sweet pair welcomed their son Sid in May 2019 and Gregg and Anna regularly share snippets of their lives together on Instagram.

Discussing how they began dating, Gregg said on Lorraine: “I sent her a message and we started sending messages. Then I sent her my phone number, this was five years ago.

“She came down to London to have dinner with me, and she said it wasn’t until we got to the restaurant, that she was comfortable it was really me and not an impostor.”

He added: “I think it’s just luck, and I got very lucky this time. Very lucky.”

Gregg, who opened up about his alcohol battle earlier this year, sand Anna tied the knot at Hever Castle in Kent and they then went on to honeymoon in Portofino.

Anna is Gregg’s fourth wife, with his marriage before her ending in March 2012.

Gregg met his third wife Heidi on social media too, in 2009, and she was 17 years younger than he was.

They called time on their marriage in 2012, after getting married in 2011.

Gregg married his first wife when he was just 24 back in 1991, according to the Daily Mail.

The pair reportedly kept their wedding low-key, in a ceremony that only lasted 20 minutes.

Their union wasn't to last however, with the couple divorcing after just six weeks.
