A woman has been left mortified after noticing the new Christmas decoration she picked up in B&M has a very rude secret message.
Earlier this year, UK TikTok user Nic bought a £6 wooden ornament from the high street giant.
The ornament – which she has displayed by her TV at home – spells out the word ‘FAMILY’.
Along with a Christmas tree and some reindeer ears, there is also a candy cane, a bauble and a Santa hat hanging off the snow-topped letters.

Although these additions give the ornament an extra festive touch, Nic only noticed after she bought it that they somewhat confuse the message.
After studying it closer, the shopper realised that the letters ‘F’, ‘M’ and ‘L’ are the only ones she could clearly make out from afar – as the ‘A’ has taken the form of a tree and the ‘I’ is covered in wrapping paper.
Posting about her shopping fail on TikTok, Nic joked: ‘Buying what I thought was a nice FAMILY Christmas ornament.
‘Then realising it looks like it says, “F**k My Life”.’
Nic’s video has amassed over 325,000 views since it was posted

She then finished off the caption with an emoji of a woman holding her hand to her face in exasperation.
The video has amassed over 4,000 ‘likes’ and over 325,000 views since it was posted – but not everyone could make out the awkward design flaw.
One replied: ‘Only you see that!’
Another added: ‘Looks like “family” to me…’
‘I don’t see it,’ a third wrote.
However, a fourth joked: ‘From the way this year went, I would get a FML ornament.’
‘OMG,’ a fifth said. ‘I’ve bought it and I can’t unsee it now.’
But this isn’t the first time B&M have caused a social media storm over a Christmas decoration.

In 2020, the store was mocked online after shoppers discovered a reindeer ornament with ‘human-like’ private parts.
Sian Collinson and her then 18-year-old daughter Natasha Collinson were browsing the aisles at a B&M store near Newcastle when they spotted the innocent white ornament.
But just when Natasha was placing it back on the shelf the reindeer’s unexpected package ‘caught her eye’ and the shocked pair were left giggling the rest of the way around the shop.
Sian was compelled to return and buy the rude ornament after her photos amassed more than 10,000 likes, comments and shares on Facebook.

Sian, of Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, said: ‘My daughter picked it up and said “oh this ornament’s really cute” and whilst she was putting it back it caught her eye if you like.
‘We were shocked, but it was a funny shock – we’re not prudish or anything.
‘It’s something that you wouldn’t expect to see on any ornament – when we saw it we thought really, on a reindeer?
‘On inspection of that one we looked at a few others and realised they were all the same – I’d like to know who actually put them on – whose job was that?
‘We were like two kids and giggled all the way around the shop – we kept looking at each other and laughing because we couldn’t believe what we saw.’
