Woman reunites with bartender who penned her note to save her from bar creep

A woman who was rescued by the "hero" bartender has now met up with him at the "scene of the crime".

Trinity Allie was at a bar when Max Gutierrez used a fake receipt to stop a creep from harassing her.

Max decided to take action when he saw Trinity receiving unwanted attention from a man at the bar he was working at.

He handed her a note saying he knows what's going on and that he was happy to intervene if Trinity wanted him to.

Now she's been able to thank him for his heroic efforts and shared a snap of the reunion.

Posting on Instagram, she wrote: "Reunited w/ the legend himself #maxthebartender back @ the scene of the crime."

The reunion, which was filmed by WFLA, saw Max embrace Trinity as he lifted her up and said: "So good to see you!"

They met at the bar where the incident took place and Trinity called him a "hero" for how he behaved.

His efforts to come to her aide saw the photo go viral on social media with many praising the bartender.

The note read: "If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed.

"He's giving me the creeps."

Speaking about the incident, Trinity said: "No bartender has ever stepped in for me.

"That's why I thought it was so great and everyone should hear about it.

"Everyone is like, we need more bartenders like this."

Trinity fears things could have ended badly if Max hadn't intervened when he did.

She admitted: "Say he didn't step in and this guy followed me and my friend out when we left."

Max was amazed at how his kind act quickly went viral, saying he's received messages from many social media users.

He said: "I see all the 'hero bartender' [messages] – I'm not a hero.

"I was just doing my job."

His boss and the owner of No Vacancy Stephan Schrutt said he wanted other bar staff to "take a page out of Max's book".

He added: "This is what it's about – you're not just selling food and drinks, you're making sure people are safe."
