Woman turns moles into pretty flower tattoos but some worry its dangerous

A woman is starting to change her moles into dainty flower tattoos – and has claimed it has ‘considerably’ boosted her confidence.

Ink enthusiast Amanda Jean took to TikTok to share her creative idea to embrace the beauty marks on her body.

The American has now gone viral for the unique tattoos and has certainly inspired many to do the same.

In the clip that has now racked up 254,000 views, Amanda explained in the clip: “I’m in the process of turning all of my moles on my arms and chest into little dainty flower tattoos.”

She admitted: "I'm obsessed and can't wait to get the rest done."

Amanda then filmed a couple of moles on her arms that have already been tattooed around with various different shaped petals.

Going for a minimalist design, Amanda opted to go for just black ink for a simplistic but effective look.

As her mole mimics the bud, the petals are penned on around the outside to form the rest of the flower.

One of Amanda’s tattoos strikes a resemblance to a daisy, while the other appears to be more of a buttercup shape.

Since being posted, the body art fan has racked up endless amounts of comments from people who love the idea – and want to get it done themselves.

One person commented: “I would be a literal flower field.”

Another user added: “I need to see more. This is a fantastic idea.”

A third person voiced: “Okay but I’ve literally been wanting to do that with this one mole on my hand, for years I’ve been doodling a flower on it!”

Someone else expressed: “I have a genetic condition and one minor side effect is I get a ton of moles and skin tags. This would make my confidence skyrocket.”

Meanwhile, a fifth person gasped: “This lowkey would probably help my self-confidence SO much considering the amount of moles on my body.”

And, Amanda agreed with the user, she confessed: "It honestly helped mine considerably already, do it!!!"

Despite the outpouring of compliments about her tattoos done by artist @jesspaulsonart, some people were not so convinced as they felt the inkings could be risky if any of the moles were to be cancerous.

One person fretted: “This is the one tattoo that will not age well because you most likely will have to get the moles removed.”

Another user warned: “Cute but now it's harder to monitor for potential skin cancer, which is super important!"

This person noted: “How will you get your moles checked every year to see if you have skin cancer?”

And, a fourth remarked: “I feel like my dermatologist would be really annoyed by this during skin cancer screenings!"

But Amanda was having none of it, she retaliated: "We didn't do any that are raised – just the small beauty marks."

The TikToker plans to document her tattoo journey online and has shared that she is not just going to stick to the simplistic black ink.

She wrote: “Maybe someday I’ll get them all coloured in!! Wanted to start simple for my first tatts.”
