Ashley Cain shares The Rock’s ‘let’s go champ’ video to baby amid health battle

Actor Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson sent a heartfelt message to reality star Ashley Cain on Sunday, as he expressed his sorrow over the news of his baby daughter Azaylia's health battle.

Ashley's eight-month-year-old daughter Azaylia has been battling a rare form of leukemia.

After receiving a bone marrow test and a lumbar puncture procedure earlier this week Ashley and Azaylia's mother Safiyya Vorajee discovered that Azaylia's CT scans found that she also had two "very big tumours on her brain."

Azaylia's story has touched many globally and has sparked several people, including celebrities such as Molly-Mae Hague and Rio Ferdinand, to donate in a bid to help save her life.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Ashley shared a heartfelt video from Dwayne Johnson to his 1.2million followers.

On Saturday the former Ex On The Beach star took to Instagram to share a string of adorable photos of his daughter as he celebrated her eight-month birthday.

The photos were of Azaylia's last hospital ride home in an ambulance.

The star captioned the photos: "Today is her 8th month birthday! Happy 8 months baby! I honestly thought @therock was my hero until I spent the last 8 months with you.

"You taught me how to be strong when I needed strength, you taught me how to smile when I am feeling sad, you taught me how to cherish every single moment – as these moments are all we have."

He continued: "You've been tenacious, fearless, courageous, positive, happy and loving through times which I thought would make it impossible!

"You've given me the best 8 months of my life through the toughest of times. MY HERO. I LOVE YOU."

Safiyya and Ashley also decided to have a cast made of their daughter’s feet to celebrate her eight-month birthday.

Ashley and his girlfriend Safiyya had an expert come into their home to get the casts done as there had been a surge in parents wanting their child’s feet cast.

On her Instagram stories, Safiyya showed her followers the process of the woman mixing the mould in their kitchen as she explained she was worried they would "run out of product" because so many people wanted to do one.

Safiyya captioned the story: "Getting the most beautiful casting done for my beautiful girl."

The mother of one then continued to film her sleeping daughter with one foot in the mould as Ashley cradled her in his arms and gently kissed her on the forehead.
