Dancing On Ices Brianne Delcourt and Kevin Kilbane unveil baby daughter Keavy

Dancing On Ice couple Brianne Delcourt and Kevin Kilbane have now revealed their newborn daughter's unique name.

Brianne, 41, gave birth via C-section on Friday, April 29.

The newborn is her third child and second with footballer husband Kevin, 45.

The loved-up couple, who first met on the ITV show, announced the birth on Instagram. They said: "Our beautiful baby girl born 8:37am ET. We can't wait to take you home to meet your sisters."

Kevin had his sights set on an Irish name for his daughter and they have now revealed that she is called Keavy Anne.

Professional pair skater Brianne has also shared the special meaning behind the unusual name.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Brianne said: "Keavy is obviously named after Kevin and the Anne is named after me too.

"As soon as we saw her we knew she was definitely a Keavy."

Former professional footballer Kevin said: "I wanted an Irish name with an Irish spelling. Bri wasn’t totally against it, but she didn’t want to make her child’s life more complicated than it needs to be.

"We’d been pretty much settled on Emily Ava for more or less six months of the pregnancy and then after the ultrasound, when we got the little still shot, Bri said she was feeling Keavy a lot more.

"It was a joint decision but more so Bri’s. It’s a beautiful name and we’re delighted with it."

Brianne is also mum to five-year-old Gracie and 15-month-old Olivia.

She is still dealing with the effects of having to deliver Keavy Anne through a C-section.

She has revealed that she thought she was going to pass out from pain during the birth.

She said: "Everything went really smoothly until just before the surgery.

"Kevin came in and all of a sudden I started to get really sweaty and started to see stars and I looked at the doctor and said, ‘I’m going to pass out here. I’m going to go.’

"But they gave me whatever they gave me and I perked up, but the actual surgery took the longest out of my births.

"With the other two girls it was a 30-minute procedure and then I could hear a cry, but with Keavy it was way over an hour.

"I had a really bad feeling. My obstetrician kept saying, ‘It’s fine, she just doesn’t want to come out’."

After an hour and 20 minutes, Keavy Anne was born, however, Brianne started to worry when she couldn't hear a cry and sent Kevin to check if their baby girl was still breathing.

Thankfully, they finally heard their little girl cry for the first time and the proud parents could relax.
