Over the years there have been claims of Elvis Presley having had illegitimate children, but none have been proven. While friends of the singer Jimmy Ellis have speculated that Orion could well have been The King’s half-brother. Orion was well-known in the sixties and seventies for having a singing voice that was identical to The King.

And following Elvis’ sudden death of a heart attack in 1977, Jimmy was contracted to wear a mask in public as Orion.

As a result, some fans believed he was The King alive and well, while others enjoyed the fantasy of it all.

But in the 2015 documentary film Orion: The Man Who Would Be King, some of Jimmy’s friends shared why they think it’s not unreasonable to believe that he could well have been Elvis’ half-brother.

One said: “He has no idea where he came from, he was adopted. A lot of people have said maybe he was related to Elvis. He could have been, he didn’t know.”
