Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom Friends, has detailed how he had a crush on Jennifer Anniston while filming the hit sitcom.
In his tell-all memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, the 53-year-old details having a crush on co-star, who played Rachel Green for 10 years from 1994 to 2004.
In his book, he wrote:“Fairly early in the making of Friends I realized that I was still crushing badly on Jennifer Aniston.

“Our hellos and goodbyes became awkward. And then I'd ask myself, how long can I look at her? Is three seconds too long?
“But that shadow disappeared in the hot glow of the show. (That, and her deafening lack of interest.”
He says that he believes that his character had bad luck with women because he, himself, didn’t have the greatest way with them.
He wrote that the producers of the show took the cast out to dinner to better understand the actors and “so they could incorporate some aspects of our real personalities into the show”.
He said that he told them that he had “disastrous” relationships and that he had “terrible luck” when it came to women.
He also said that he was “not comfortable” in his silence “at all”.
“I have to break any such moment with a joke," and this became a built-in excuse for Chandler Bing to be funny-perfect for a sitcom and Chandler wasn't much good with women…”
During the making of Friends Jennifer was romantically involved with, and eventually married, Hollywood actor Brad Pitt.
Meanwhile Matthew has never married, but he has dated women like actress’ Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Anne Caplan.
The Friends actor also said in his book that before moving away from home and getting the big bucks on Friends, he believed his penis didn’t work.
He said that tried having sex with a girl but being intoxicated he "failed to make the correlation between the booze and my private parts not working” and went on believing for years that his privates didn’t work.
He said, however, that an actress on Friends changed the way of his thinking after he told her of his issues, and she told him “come with me”.
“With that, she walked over to me, took my hand, led me back to bed, laid me down and sure enough… sheer glory for two whole minutes!"
