Josie Gibson denies This Morning cameraman romance after saying she is in love

Josie Gibson has shut down rumours that she is dating a cameraman colleague at This Morning.

The presenter, 38, is currently filling in for Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, as the trio take their annual break for the summer.

But whilst she is happy in front of the camera with pal Craig Doyle, behind the scenes Josie is getting frustrated with the allegations.

Taking to her Instagram story, Gibson felt the need to address the rumours she was dating cameraman Sam Morter.

She lamented on camera: "I'm just having a little lie down because I'm so tired of this story. I am not in a relationship, neither am I in love, with cameraman Sam. I am not with Sam Morter."

Josie admitted that she was good friends with Morter, but clearly said that he was her work colleague.

"I'm like his older sister. I'm like his auntie. That's as far as it goes," she continued.

The former Big Brother winner said it again on her story, before abruptly cutting off.

The duo sent fans into chaos when a pic of the two surfaced holding hands in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France back in January.

It turned out the trip was more of a work do than anything, with Josie captioning the pic: "In the most romantic in the world with…. Sam Morter… gutted".

But the rumours were everywhere when another cosy snap was shared of the pair, which many took as a relationship announcement.

It comes just days after she said she was "in love" with her current, unknown boyfriend during ITV2's Shopping with Keith Lemon.

Josie went all in on her new romance and said that her new beau gives her "flutters", but denied it was Sam the cameraman.

She said that the relationship was in its early stages but things were going well.

Speaking to Keith, she admitted: "There is someone in my life at the moment, but it's early stages.

"It's that bit where you've got the flutters, can't-wait-to-see-them vibes – you get a little bit nervous," she said with an excited tone.

Josie also added that she has already dropped the L-bomb, explaining: "It's best to just get it out of the way, I don't like playing games."
