Peter Andre has spoken out about the slam Rebekah Vardy made regarding his manhood, 15 years ago in 2004.

He told his fans on Instagram, about the effect the situation has taken on his mental health and body image.

When Rebekah went to the News of the World in 2004 to give a tell-all exclusive on all the raunchy details of when the two spent a night together.

Peter never addressed the article in which Rebekah referred to his member as a “chipolata," iIt has now resurfaced once again as she was asked to recall the article during the Wagatha Christie trial.

Appearing at London’s High Court, Vardy took to the witness box as she attempts to sue Coleen Rooney for libel after the latter accused her of leaking "false stories" about her private life to the press.

Rooney engaged in a months-long "sting operation" to find her suspected culprit.

Rebekah, who was married but separated at the time, spent a night with Peter Andre and then did her kiss and tell article in which she was pictured in her bra and knickers.

She told the courtroom when she took to the stand that she regretted calling his privates a "miniature chipolata".

In the kiss and tell article, she said that Peter “had the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen,” and could only participate in “five minutes” of sex with Rebekah.

Peter shared a video on Instagram on Thursday (May 12), saying: “Hi everyone. Seeing as I haven’t had much of a say in this, and just let everyone had a laugh and whatever, I’m just going to put it out.

“I’ve taken it for 15 years. 15 years this has been going on and I kept quiet, and I didn’t say anything, and I let everyone have their laugh and I let everyone say what they wanted to say.”

He also spoke about Rebekah, saying: "Now, she's gone to court and admitted the story was made up, and she did that because her ex-husband forced her to do it.

"Fair enough, but, put that all aside, and just think how it feels that if a man – or if I had said this – about her anatomy, or a man said something about a woman's anatomy, there would be outrage."

He added: "You've got to understand, what's even worse is it's brought up in a High Court, and the lawyer is bringing it up – having a go at her for bringing up something in News of the World that went to four million people – and then it's brought up in court, that goes to a lot more than four million people, and it's brought up again. The only one that sits there and takes hit after hit about it is me."

"I'll be laughing about it for a while, but, think about how it would feel if it was the other way around, that's all I'm saying.”

Peter discussed the toll the situation had taken on his mental health, and he said: “We talk about all sots of things, about mental health, about being kind and all that sort of stuff, and nothing seems to change.”

Rebekah has apologised to Peter for the cruel claims she made on his body, she said it is something she “deeply regrets.” She blamed her ex-husband for pressuring her to do the article, as Peter did not know the story was being released and had not consented to it.

Vardy said in court: "I was forced into a situation by my ex-husband to do this story.

"This is something I deeply regret and something that is very much part of my past. It is not nice to read. But I was in a terrible, terrible relationship."
