You can go glamping in one of Johnny Vegas' campervans this summer | The Sun

JOHNNY Vegas has invited holidaymakers to spend the night in a vintage vehicle in Derbyshire this summer.

The 52-year-old comedian is bringing his collection of repurposed vehicles to Derbyshire.

After first launching in Yorkshire in 2021, Vegas and his team have moved The Field of Dreams to Melbourne Hall in Derbyshire after approaching the owners Lord and Lady Kerr.

From April, holidaymakers are invited to spend the night at Vegas's The Field of Dreams – a glamping haven for lovers of vintage vehicles.

Those wishing to spend a night on the site can book to stay in a German fire truck, an American school bus (dubbed Patricia), a classic Citroen Camper, or a rare 1964 Austin J2 Bluebird Highwayman.

Other eclectic motors have also been added to this year's line up including the soon-to-be restored boat named Mahala, which will take prime place next to the lake.

A helicopter that served in Chile and Sierra Leone is also expected to take centre stage in 2023.

The vehicles will be spread across two sites that are both within walking distance of a swimming pool and the stately home's walled gardens.

Visitors can expect comedians, music and food and drink on site too.

For those after more fun this summer, guests can combine their stay with a series of summers events dubbed Live at Melbourne Hall.
