Barber shaves ‘2027’ into customer’s hair leaving followers gobsmacked

A barber has left Instagram users stunned after posting a no-context video of them shaving numbers into their customer's hair.

The video, which has gained more than 35,000 views, shows the stylist trimming away the hair diagonally, which left viewers nervous about where they were going.

All seemed fine once they shaved the area into an under-cut, allowing viewers to have a quick sigh of relief before it got rather weird.

The barber, who goes by @hairstylezf, then used the sheers to carve the number '2027' in the remaining hair in a bubble-style font.

Viewers took to the comment section questioning the bizarre trim, with some users claiming they are referencing a year, five years into the future.

One user said: "F U T U R E." Another asked: "But why 2027?"

A third simply called it "stupidity."

The barber has offered no explanation behind the video since it was shared to social media last week.

The news comes after another barber revealed that trimming beards and freshening up fades are not the only services he offers – as he often shaves his customers' private parts too.

Rodney Williamson, 31, is a hairstylist and 'manscaper' who provides his cutting skills for the down below areas to his male customers.

The Aussie who now lives in London hopes to change the perception around male grooming – and has shared that he even has some older clients wanting to get a piece of the action.

He said: “Men are constantly being told that they don't put enough effort into their appearance.

"But then when they want to put effort into how they look and think ‘I'll tidy up my back’ or ‘I'll tidy up my pubes’ for some reason it’s looked upon with suspicion or thought to be something bizarre.

"And it shouldn’t be. Why is it weird that a man needs to go and get his back shaved? When you think about it logically there's nothing weird about it.”
