Can you spot what’s going on in this creepy picture?
At first glance, it looks like a cat has been decapitated and its head placed in a bucket.
But thankfully, the reality is a lot less sinister.
While an optical illusion makes it look like the moggy has a floating head, there’s actually two felines in the picture.
One of the cats is comfortably tucked away in the basket, while the other is swivelled to the side and hiding its head from the camera.
The snap has gone viral on Reddit, where it’s garnered more than 8,200 upvotes and dozens of amusing comments.
Many joked it looked like the cat had been guillotined like the last Queen of France Marie Antoinette.
One laughed: “Must be a French Aristocat.”
Another chimed in: “Meow-rie Antoinette.”
A third jibed: “Catipal punishment.”
And another added: “Let them eat crabcakes… meowch!”

While many were amused by the picture, some admitted it had left them feeling a bit freaked out.
One Redditor admitted: “For some reason, this reminded me of Hereditary… I will now proceed to have nightmares.”
Another said: “Wholesome and terrifying at the same time.”
And a third agreed: “Spooky!”
This isn't the only cat related optical illusion to go viral recently.
Previously, a one-in-a-million snap revealed the truth about cats.
It may seem like they’re asleep most of the time but they secretly run the world.
Twitter user Amanda Hyslop uploaded the snap, saying: “Took a pic of the cat looking out the window and accidentally turned him into some sort of god.”
In the viral picture, which swept the web last October, Amanda's white cat appears to be casually perching on top of a cloud, despite simply being a window reflection.
