DEAR DEIDRE: I’ve just spent the best part of £100 on a course of pills to cure my premature ejaculation issues.

Throwing my money down the toilet would have been just as useful as the three month course has been absolutely useless.

As these pills were bought on the internet, it's very possible they weren't genuine – and may not be safe.

It's always best to see your GP and get a proper prescription and advice with any medical issue.

Many men deal with premature ejaculation at some stage – it’s perfectly normal.

And usually it’s a psychological issue, rather than a physical one. Sex begins with your thoughts, so the more you worry about this, the more it’s likely to happen.
