DEAR DEIDRE: I WORRY that I am not satisfying my wife in the bedroom. I simply can’t last long enough these days.
She never complains and is an attentive lover to me. I am now 60, while she is 50, and I love her so much.
Sex is not as frequent as it used to be – and we are not as adventurous as we once were either, mainly because we don’t have the same energy these days.
That said, I never used to have a problem with sex and I could go on for a good while until my wife was near to reaching climax.
Now it’s all over very quickly for me. Although she never complains, I feel like I might be failing her.
What can I do to get things back on track?

DEIDRE SAYS: If this has not been a problem for you before, it might be wise to have a checkup with your GP, just to be certain that things are all working as they should.
Delaying climax is all about focusing more on your partner and only having intercourse when you are both fully ready.
My support pack Worried You’re Past It explains more.
