Influencer shows what she ‘really’ looks like without glam in ‘unseen pic’

Social media star Bree Lenehan has showed what she looks like without her makeup and glam outfits.

The Australian influencer, who boasts 655,000 Instagram followers, often takes to the site to share her body positive 'Real Me' posts.

And this week, she decided to show what 'really' looks like during her downtime.

Bree did this by sharing two pictures of herself side-by-side.

In the left-hand photo, the brunette was glammed-up as she rocked glowing makeup, curled locks and a figure-hugging black dress.

She captioned this photo: "What gets posted."

While in the right-hand snap, Bree wore a crumpled Sonic the Hedgehog T-shirt, which she teamed with tracksuit bottoms, not makeup and her hair up in a scrunchie. This photo was labelled: "What doesn't [get posted]."

Bree, who previously exposed her 'cellulite' on Instagram too, also shared more snaps of herself breathing in and relaxing. She did this to show how different angles and poses can 'change' your body shape.

Captioning the post, she wrote: "At 18: I hate my body… At 20: I hate my body, I wish I looked like I did at 18.

"At 22: I hate my body, I wish I looked like I did at 20… At 90: I wish I FELT the way I did at 70. I wish I wore a bikini in my 40s. I wish I went out more in my 20s. I wish I didn’t spend so much time being hard on myself and instead, appreciated what I had at the time."

She added: "Body image is not about how you look, it’s about what you think and how you feel.

"(I believe the first part is quoted from @thebodylovesociety but I changed a few things for this post).

"I don’t want my whole life to be shaped around what shape my body is.

"I didn’t want to spend another day comparing myself to others and only accepting myself if I looked a certain way.

"I don’t want to look back on my life and regret turning down fun invitations or photos with loved ones or wishing I could do things differently.

"How about you?… Let this be the motivation/inspiration for you to be gentler with yourself this week!"

Fans were quick to support Bree on the post, with it racking up more than 39,000 likes.

One wrote: "This caption is so true," while another added: "This hits my heart so much, you are always the reminder I need."

While a third chimed in: "Love this! Really needed this in run up to my holiday."
