TikTok sensation Olivia Dunne has shared hilarious footage of her most painful gymnastics fails – from flying off the bars to crashing down from the beam.

While the successful college gymnast and popular social media star, 20, always appears to be on the top of her game when she competes, she let her followers know that she has had her fair share of mishaps.

She posted a montage of clips that showed her messing up over the years to TikTok on Tuesday, just days after she returned to practice for the first time following a brutal foot injury that forced her to stay on the bench for weeks.

‘Don’t try this at home,’ she captioned the post, which got more than 1.3 million views in a matter of hours.

One video showed her swinging around the bars before she smashed her back right into the bar, while others featured her attempting to jump from one bar to another and missing completely – which resulted in her landing hard on the floor.

A different clip saw her crashing into a wall after doing some flips, while another showcased one particularly painful-looking moment when she tumbled off the beam, hitting her back on the way down.

While the TikTok left some viewers in shambles, others were stunned over the dangers that come with being an elite athlete.

‘I can feel the pain,’ one person wrote, while another added, ‘I got injured just looking at this.’

‘Dang, that had to hurt,’ said someone else. A fourth comment read, ‘Gymnastics is one humbling sport.’

Olivia, who has made waves in the world of gymnastics, thanks to her success with Louisiana State University, and on social media, where she has gained more than 7.1 million followers on TikTok and 3.4 million on Instagram, has not competed since December 12 due to a foot injury.

Instead, she has been supporting her teammates from the sidelines – but on February 1, she revealed that she was finally ‘getting back into the swing of things.’

She posted a clip of herself performing a quick routine on the apparatus, before dismounting with a series of impressive aerial flips.

She wore a bandage on her left foot throughout the clip, which she captioned, ‘Getting back into the swing of things.’

The NCAA star’s lack of competing hasn’t stopped her fans from showing up the LSU’s matches in droves to try to see her.

Hoards of her supporters, most of whom were teenage boys, have been lining up outside of each one – and on one occasion, they even started ‘swarming’ her and her teammates as they tried to leave the competition.

Things became so intense that police had to be called, resulting in LSU gymnastics hiring a permanent bodyguard to accompany her.

Olivia spoke out about the ongoing frenzy to the Today show last month, while voicing some of her ‘concerns’ over the immense attention she has received both online and in person.

‘They gave us some new rules, just to keep us safe: Not to go into the stands after meets and we have a new security person that travels with us,’ Olivia explained.

‘In the past, I have had some of my supporters come out to meets and watch and cheer for LSU, but that was insane. It really was.’

The outlet also revealed that LSU had to go to the police last year over a separate ‘incident,’ but it did not share any other details about what happened or who was involved.

Olivia also spoke out about ‘threatening’ comments she has received on social media to Today, stating: ‘There are some people occasionally that do reach out, and it is a bit concerning.’

‘[Social media] changes everything,’ Olivia’s LSU coach Jay Clark added. ‘It creates a false sense of accessibility and familiarity that [makes] followers feel as though there’s a personal connection.’

Olivia, originally from New Jersey, first started participating in gymnastics at the age of three – and she is now one of the top earners in collegiate sport, amassing a net worth of $2.3 million thanks to her athletic abilities, as well as her many lucrative sponsorship deals.

In addition to her success as an athlete, she has also found fame as a well-known star on TikTok and Instagram, where she regularly documents her her lavish lifestyle and all the glamorous perks that come with being an NCAA athlete with her joint nine million followers.

At first, Olivia wasn’t allowed to make any money from her internet stardom, due to the NCAA’s strict policy about its members selling sponsorships.

But in June 2021, the organization changed its rules, announcing that it would now allow its athletes to earn a profit off of their name, image, and likeness – a move that turned Olivia into a millionaire at only 18 years old, according to the New York Post.
