It’s almost time for a new group of campmates to head to the Australian outback for the 2022 series ofI'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
This year’s group of campmatesare back Down Under after a two year hiatus saw the show filmed in Gwrych Castle in North Wales and in their absence, the jungle camp has had a makeover.
While the celebrities will be ditching the glitz, glamour and comforts of home life for hunkering down in the jungle, they have a very strict rules to follow – including what they can and can’t bring with them.
When it comes to clothes, the celebs are provided with a uniform, which they all must wear, but have the freedom to style it they way they want – as Boy George has done this year.
As well, the stars are only allowed to pack three sets of underwear and three sets of swimwear for their time on the show – which explains why they’re always by the water washing their clothing.
Every celebrity is also given the chance to bring in one luxury item.
A lot of the time celebrities will opt for something sensible like a pillow, or something more sentimental like a photograph or a letter from home.
When it comes to cigarettes, the stars that do smoke are not cut off completely from their habit and are given them throughout the day.
In the past some celebs have snuck in salt and pepper to liven up their rations, though any foodstuff is technically banned.
While the campmates will be away from their creature comforts, they do have a brand new and bigger camp to call home for a few weeks.
Bunkbeds have been installed in the campsite for the first time ever, and a new luxury motorhome has been parked at the top of the space.
The motorhome has enough space to house two celebrities, but they'll have to win the right to stay in there.
Speaking about the new sleeping arrangements that have been introduced, executive producer Olly Nash said: "The camp fire is still very much the same but we have bunk beds which is a first for I'm A Celebrity and then we have a Luxury RV(motorhome) that was driven through the jungle about 35 years ago, broke down and was never moved."
The iconic I'm A Celebrity bridge remains in place as well as the waterfall shower. A bathtub remains in camp, which celebs will need to get on a tandem and cycle in order to see the tub fill up with water.
The treehouse, where contestants tend to head to exchange gossip, has had a roof installed.
Plus, Ant and Dec's studio has also been an upgrade and now boasts a new roof along with LED lighting.
