In a clip titled ‘Washing up liquid hack’, which Tanya shared four days ago, the cleaning enthusiast shows how, rather than using a sponge or scourer, she’ll clean her oven racks with frozen washing up liquid.

Firstly, the NHS worker can be seen pouring the product into an ice cube tray before freezing it until it’s solid.

Once frozen, she uses the cubes to wipe the greasy racks and the burnt-on food ‘just slides off’.  She then rinses the shelves, revealing a sparkling makeover in the video, which has been liked more than 5,000 times.

‘Omg. This is brilliant!’, one viewer commented, while another said: ‘Thank you so much for blessing my For You page.’

It comes after another cleaning enthusiast revealed an easy hack to revive wilting vegetables, which she says she now ‘swears by’ and stops food waste.

Alesha Ruddenklau, from New Zealand, shared a video to TikTok showing how to keep her broccoli fresh, by cutting off the stem and putting it in a cup of water.

Explaining that it’s the ‘life hack she randomly saw one day and is now an unconscious standard practice in her life,’ Alesha begins by taking a discoloured old broccoli out her fridge.

She then chops off the end and puts the stem in a cup of water, which she then places back in the fridge.

Alesha next opens the fridge door to show how the water revived the broccoli,  and made it look good as new. The video racked up more than 340,000 hits, with hundreds commenting their shock.
