Many of us are losing sleep in the current UK heatwave, but spare a thought for all the mamas-to-be out there who are struggling and sweating all the more. If you’re the latter, you’ll be glad to hear that pregnant Millie Mackintosh has shared some of her cool-down tips for fellow expecting mums.

The Made In Chelsea alumnus posted a fun video demonstrating a few of her go-to cooling hacks, and they’re a little more inventive than simply having a fan blasting in your face 24/7.

"I’ve been hiding inside away from the sun because this heat whilst pregnant is just something else!" she wrote in the Instagram caption. "I wanted to share my tips for staying cool in case they help you out…"

Millie went on to recommend "hanging out in front of the freezer (great for scouting for snacks but also a full body cool down)," and advised followers to "keep a cooling leg gel and face mist in the fridge".

She also advised her fellow pregnant fans to "use a cryo tool or keep two spoons in the freezer, these feel amazing when applied to pressure points,” and go for “an ice cold foot bath and of course lots of ice lollies!"

In the video, the star is seen applying the Mama Mio Lucky Legs Cooling Gel,£15 here, and cryo tools similar to the Chok Beauty Ice Face Massagers,£39 here.

You can also snap up Millie’s exact MaxKare foot bath,£65 here, which comes with a heated setting too (not that we want to think about that right now).

One fan also shared in the comments section that her go-to cool-down hack is "[a] bump sheet mask in the fridge then on my belly”, to which Millie replied, "Ooh this sounds great!"

"[Keep a] hot water bottle in the freezer!" another fan advised.

It’s not the first time that the star has discussed the side effects of her second pregnancy, havingopened up about her skin issues on Instagram just last month.

She shared that she was experiencing a whole host of pregnancy skin issues, from breakouts on her face and body to dry knees and elbows and melasma, a form of pigmentation. Poor Millie!

She and husband Hugo Taylor are already parents to one-year-old daughter Sienna, with baby girl number two set to arrive later this year.

At least Millie’s third trimester is guaranteed to be considerably cooler weather-wise!
